Plans: Vacation House Plans
A vacation home is one that is generally used for short getaways such as a long weekend and or holiday, but not always. They tend to be smaller with fewer amenities, while still offering the necessary comforts of home. With that said, we have put a lot of our smaller homes into this category, especially if the have a woodsy or cottage look to them. Labeling certain plans as vacation homes can be a slippery slope. One person may look for a four or five hundred square foot design to use by a lake as a fishing retreat. Someone else may look at the same floor plan as a starter home, while yet another may look at it as guest quarters complementing a larger permanent residence. This collection includes both ranch designs and two-story floor plans that may suitable for one individual's every day home or someone else's secondary residence.
