Plans: Garage Apartment Plans
Sometimes a little extra living space is needed along with additional garage space. We have a number of plans that combine the two in the form of a carriage house. These designs come in a variety of sizes in both the garage space and the living area. They can range from just one vehicle stall to three or more. The apartments range in size and layout having a kitchen area, a living space and one or more bedrooms. Some may be two levels with the unfinished garage area on the first level and the apartment space located on the second floor. Others may be designed all on one level with the living area situated beside the garage, just right for those who have difficulty using stairs. Garage apartments are great for a number of uses. They are handy for college students during school and beyond graduation. Long-term stay guests may find the additional privacy more comfortable. If the city permits, these can be ideal for rental use. Perhaps the additional living space makes it easier to entertain by the pool. These designs can even be used for In-Law quarters. Garage apartments and carriage houses come in a large selection of styles allowing you to find just the right one to match the style of your home.
